Alexandra Nilasdotter is a ceramist and product designer based in Gustavsberg, Stockholm, Sweden. She graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2017 and now collaborates with both Scandinavian and international designers and manufacturers. Her ceramic works have been showcased in galleries and museums across Europe and Asia. Drawing inspiration from architecture, industrial design, and minimalism, Alexandra creates both functional and one-of-a-kind pieces using the potter's wheel.
"To me, simplicity, minimalism, and purity are paramount. I am drawn to the raw texture of the clay’s surface and the softness of the glaze. My creative drive comes from the technical and artistic challenges of working with clay—the material’s delicate sensitivity and inherent strength."
